Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Gatewood RP website, Discord server, game server or official social media channels. By using any of them you agree to these terms and to our server rules and privacy policy.

1. Who can play

Gatewood is an 18+ community. You must own a legitimate copy of GTA V and follow the terms of FiveM / Cfx.re, Rockstar Games and Discord.

2. Rules and access

• The rulebook applies in game and in Discord.
• Whitelist access, roles, departments and organisations are a privilege, not a right. Staff may remove access, kick or ban anyone who breaks the rules or puts the community at risk.
• Cheating, exploiting and ban evasion lead to a permanent ban.

3. Recordings and clips

• Gameplay may be recorded by staff, creators and other players. By playing, you agree that clips featuring your character, character name and in-game voice may be shared on Gatewood's official channels (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Discord and this website).
• If you want a particular clip taken down, open a ticket and we will remove it.
• If you submit a clip to our media team, you confirm it is yours or that you have permission to share it. You allow Gatewood to edit it and post it, with credit, on our official channels.

4. Gatewood Clips

Gatewood Clips is an internal staff tool that posts our own gameplay clips to Gatewood's own social media accounts through each platform's official API. It does not post to anyone else's account and does not collect data about platform users. See the privacy policy for details.

5. Supporting the server

Donations are voluntary and help keep the server online. Supporter perks are cosmetic or convenience only (never money, weapons, vehicles or any in-character advantage), are offered in line with Cfx.re's platform terms, and are non-refundable except where the law requires. Breaking the rules can cost you your perks along with your access.

6. Third-party services

Gatewood relies on services we do not control, including FiveM / Cfx.re, Rockstar Games, Discord, Netlify, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Their own terms apply when you use them. Gatewood RP is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Cfx.re.

7. No guarantees

Gatewood is a free community project, provided "as is". We do not guarantee the server, Discord or website will always be available, or that characters, items or progress will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, Gatewood RP and its staff are not liable for any loss arising from your use of our services.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top and announce important changes in Discord. Continuing to play means you accept the updated terms.

9. Contact
