Gatewood runs on a paid server box, paid tooling and a lot of unpaid hours. Supporting us is optional, always — and it never buys you an advantage in the city.
Gatewood is not pay-to-win. Donations never buy money, weapons, vehicles, property, rank in a
department, or leniency on a rule break. Perks are cosmetic, convenience or Discord-side. If a perk ever felt
like an in-character advantage, we'd remove it.

What your money pays for
- The server box. A dedicated machine with the headroom to hold the whole city without it stuttering.
- Tooling and licences. Assets, scripts, backups and the bits of software that keep everything running and recoverable.
- Event prizes. Giveaways, tournaments and city events that give people a reason to log in on a Tuesday.
- Development. Custom scripts, fixes and the features people keep asking for in suggestions.
